Volunteer with us!
Our volunteers are the backbone of maintaining staff to run the library and help library patrons. We are looking for:
Volunteers to work the circulation desk who are able to commit to a 2 hour shift each week. We will train you on our new catalog & checkout system.
Substitute Volunteers: If a steady shift is not to your liking, please sign up to help as a substitute to cover when a regular volunteer needs time off.
On Call Volunteers: For any community members that would like to help in areas other than circulation desk, we are in need of assistance assembling shelves and other equipment, build projects, moving heavy items (cartons of new books), setup for events, and other miscellaneous tasks from time to time. If you would like to help in this manner, please sign up as an on call volunteer. Our coordinator will review what works best for you or contact you when we have a project that needs people for those type of tasks.
