We recently heard from Women's Gift of Lane County. Several members had attended our opening day. They contacted us to say they were so impressed with the work achieved in getting the temporary library open and the appearance of our Children’s area, that they decided to make a donation. Exciting news. What fun it is to thank our supporters!

We know our community appreciates those that care. Recently, a patron sent us a letter along with a donation to help toward our efforts to rebuild the new O’Brien Memorial Library. We’d like to share this with you and hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

Our Opening Celebration was held on July 5, 2021. The library has been open for two weeks. Volunteers are becoming acquainted with a new system for working with inventory and patrons. Community members are learning that we now have a temporary library to replace the Blue River Library that was burned last September. Board members and volunteers are working hard to purchase books and DVDs and get them on the shelves. There is wifi active and 2 computers available for use during library hours.
